There are different phases and many topics addressed by the Critical Theory of Society, the perspective of thought inaugurated by the Institut für Sozialforschung of Frankfurt, until the point that now the definition ‘critical thought’ is also applied to authors not directly involved with the experience of the so-called School of Frankfurt.
Consequently, first of all it is pivotal to define what a Critical Theory is.There are different phases and many topics addressed by the Critical Theory of Society, the perspective of thought inaugurated by the Institut für Sozialforschung of Frankfurt, until the point that now the definition ‘critical thought’ is also applied to authors not directly involved with the experience of the so-called School of Frankfurt.
Subsequently, our purpose is to investigate how a theory that is really critical can offer an interpretation, and an orientation, of society.
Main Authors considered: Adorno, Benjamin, Habermas, Honneth, Horkheimer, Marcuse, Sloterdijk.
Accepted Languages: English, Italian, French (in this order of preference).
Characters including spaces: About 30.000.
